FAQ — Tavren Player

Tavren Player is a media player application currently available for Android TV, Android boxes, phones and tablets. It plays live TV, movies and series supplied by your own IPTV service provider or playlist. The app itself contains no channels, movies or streams. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and iOS versions are in development.

No. Tavren Player contains zero content. You need an account from a licensed IPTV service provider (they will give you a server URL, username and password). All content is streamed directly from that provider to your device; we neither host nor distribute any media.

From your own service provider or seller — the same place you would get credentials for any Xtream-compatible player. We do not sell subscriptions and cannot provide provider accounts. If you found Tavren Player through a reseller, contact them directly for account questions.

Available now: Android TV devices and boxes, plus Android phones and tablets running Android 5.0 or newer. In development: Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, and iPhone/iPad (iOS). The TV interface is designed for remote control — no mouse or keyboard needed.

Not yet. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and iOS versions are in development, with no public installation packages currently available. Check the download page for current platform availability.

For Xtream Codes, check three things: (1) the server URL is complete, including http:// and the port, e.g. http://example.com:8080; (2) username and password are exactly as provided — they are case-sensitive and contain no extra spaces; (3) your subscription is active. For an M3U playlist, confirm the file or URL is accessible and still valid. If the problem continues, contact your provider.

We do not collect viewing history or your provider password. Limited device, app and account-management information is processed for compatibility, statistics and device authorization. See our Privacy Policy for the exact data and purposes.

You can sign in with Xtream Codes-style credentials (server URL + username + password), or load an M3U playlist from a file or URL. Live TV, EPG, movies and series are supported, including large catalogues — the app loads categories on demand so slow servers won't freeze your TV.
